My Story

Career Sherpa and Explorer

Growing up, my passion was to be a veterinarian so I could work on a farm and take care of all large animals. Well, that dream was discovered to be an unrealistic goal after completing an internship the summer of my high school junior year. I found myself delving into a world of exploring new paths and opportunities. My journey can not be described with a fast pace, but more of trial and error. I spent a few years exploring paths that were not a fit for me. Until, I landed in HR recruitment and soon thereafter, higher education. I found my calling to be a cross between a career Sherpa and an explorer. My reality finally caught up with my dreams! I have donned myself a 'career engineer' as I work to train and professionally prepare early career talent by way of engaging learning experiences. I am fortunate and blessed to have found a successful and fulfilling career.  

I have a great interest in people and an appreciation as to how their career development needs change. My desire is to continue to learn and grow from the understanding I am ever developing from my audience. With each new generation comes a new level of learning every few years.
